This page explains how Egobee uses cookies on egobee.org and what choices you have.
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device when you visit. They help sites remember information about your visit so your experience is smoother and more relevant the next time you come back.
We use three types of cookies on egobee.org.
Essential cookies keep the site functioning properly. Without these the site would not work the way it is supposed to. These cannot be turned off.
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use our site. We use Google Analytics for this. The data is aggregated and anonymous and helps us improve our content and user experience.
Marketing cookies help us understand how our advertising is performing. We use the Facebook Pixel for this. It helps us run more relevant ads to people who have visited our site and measure how well our campaigns are working.
You can adjust your cookie preferences at any time through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Keep in mind that blocking certain cookies may affect how the site functions.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout and manage your Facebook ad preferences at facebook.com/ads/preferences.
If we update this policy we will change the date at the top of this page.

At Egobee we take your privacy seriously. This page explains what information we collect when you visit our website, how we use it, and what choices you have. We have written this to actually be readable so here it is in plain language.
Egobee is an independent creative and marketing agency with offices in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Los Angeles, California. We do business with clients across the United States. You can reach us at info@egobee.org with any questions about this policy.
When you fill out our contact form or embedded team inquiry form we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, and any information you choose to share with us. We use that information to respond to you and potentially work together. We do not sell it, share it with third parties for marketing purposes, or do anything with it that would make you uncomfortable.
When you visit our site we collect analytics and behavioral data through two tools: Google Analytics and the Facebook Pixel. Here is what that means in practice.
Google Analytics helps us understand how people find our site, which pages they spend time on, and how our content is performing overall. This data is aggregated and not tied to your name or identity.
The Facebook Pixel is a small piece of code that helps us understand how visitors interact with our site after seeing one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram. It also allows us to run more relevant ads to people who have visited our site before. Facebook has its own data practices and you can learn more about how they handle that information at facebook.com/privacy.
Neither tool is used to identify you personally or sell your information. We use them to make smarter marketing decisions and improve the experience on our site.
Our website also uses cookies to support these tools and to keep the site functioning properly. You can adjust your cookie preferences through your browser settings at any time.
If you reach out to us and we do not end up working together we will hold onto your contact information for a reasonable period of time in case you come back to us. If you would like us to delete it sooner just ask and we will.
Our website is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child please contact us and we will delete it immediately.
Depending on where you live you may have specific rights regarding your personal information.
California residents under the CCPA have the right to know what personal information we collect, request that we delete it, opt out of the sale of their information (we do not sell it), and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Minnesota residents have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of their personal information under Minnesota data privacy law.
All US residents can contact us at any time to access, correct, or delete their personal information and we will respond promptly.
Our site may link to other websites we do not control. Once you leave egobee.org this privacy policy no longer applies. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any site you visit.
If we ever update this policy in a meaningful way we will change the date at the top of this page. If you ever want to check back in this is where it will live.
Reach out to us at info@egobee.org or through our contact page. We are real people and we are happy to talk through any of this.
